Work Injury prevented by Exosuits

Awhile back Japan made their own Exosuits and they were meant for people 60 and above.  Now, in the Ford industrial plant, workers are now using Exosuits to prevent any sort of injury when dealing with assembly for cars.  The Exosuit is called SuitX and it's making improvements for many people when they use it.  This suit can be used in the medical field to get those who are injured to where they can't walk can.  I can just imagine these types to suits in work areas that deal with heavy equipment or packages that need to be delivered.  It will definitely improve the way that we work normally in a positive way. Net Neutrality Being Attacked Once More

Last week the Federal Communications Commission Chairman, Ajit Pai, released a plan to roll back Obama-era rules that ensure equal access to the internet.  With these new rules in place, ISP's (Internet Service Providers) will charge more for various speeds and charge more for wider access to websites.  I personally don't want Net Neutrality to disappear, it will cause an uproar in the United States.  If this happens the internet, it wouldn't be a public utility anymore, just something that the rich can use which is unfair. Toyota's new Robot can mimic your movements.

Toyota revealed a new robot that can be controlled by data gloves and an HTC Vive VR headset which are linked to cameras to show the robot’s perspective.  When the user moves, the MMS signals to the robot’s 29 body parts (including 10 fingers) to move.  This has many benefits for many reason.  Imagine if the military had this they can send the robots controlled by a professional to the front lines. Link Of Article Here

10-Year-Old Was Able to Unlock Mom's iPhone's Face ID

This kid unlocked his mother's iPhone with it's Face ID. There is a video in the article to prove that they are correct and it's mind blowing that this sort of error is happening.  As it turns out, from what they can gather, its suggesting that any family members who bear enough resemblance might be able to bypass the system. So the 10-year-old kid had his mothers looks so he was able to access the phone.  With Apple's iPhone X reporting bugs, face recognition not working properly and a new issue where they freeze in cold weather kind of makes me wonder if Apple is rushing their tech.  Link To Article Here

Lift your hearts, not your phones

Pope Francis is not happy with people who are using technology when they're at Mass a celebration of the Eucharist.  This is what he had to say, “It makes me very sad when I celebrate Mass here in the Square or in the Basilica and I see many cellphones raised,” the pope said, according to a translation by Vatican Radio. “And it’s not only the faithful, but also many priests and bishops.”  Technology, for best or worse, has taken over many lives. While some people are using their phones to capture their experiences, it's still disrespectful to the holy church or any celebrated religion. Link to Article Here

Olympus made an open-source smart glasses

EyeTrek has invented the Insight EI-10 which is a open-source, enterprise-focused smart glasses product.  This costs around $1500 dollars to buy, but this can mount to any sort of glassware.  This is just another step in the right direction for people to wear these type of glasses and use them for traveling and or for business.  Even though the device has only 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of storage, it still functions.  Link to Article Here

Intel's Optane SSD 900P

The next big thing just came out of Intel.  This little device is called Optane SSD 900P.  To put things into simpler terms, it’s trying to bridge the gap between the high-speed but low-capacity flash memory your computer uses for RAM and the high-capacity but relatively low speed memory used in SSDs.  With this little piece of tech in your PC, you can access everything in your computer or flash drive with ease without touching your RAM that is already there. However, this isn't cheap this little piece here can is the price of $1,520.  Even though it's expensive, we're going to see that price drop in a decade or so. Link to Article Here

Amazon Key - Privacy Issue?

Looks like Amazon wants to get into your home buy unlocking your front door and delivering your packages inside and leaving by locking the door once again.  Why are they doing this?  They are basically trying to prevent the porch pirates that steal your packages in broad daylight.  This is one of their solutions to deliver your package safely.  People that sign up with this get a lock and a camera from Amazon to install into their home and give one access code, that changes to how many they ordered, to the person who will be delivering it inside your home and leaving without a fuss.  Amazon said that they do background checks of all their employees so customers won't be worried about them breaking into their home.  However, this leads many concerned and may leave them open for this locking device to get hacked if no properly updated to protect itself.  My point of view on this news is this: I don't like it.  Not one bit.  Call me old fashion, but wouldn't be easier for Amazon to invent a metal box, which can adjust to any size depending on the package, that can be installed into the floor and they can just deliver the package by dropping it into the box with a code that is given to you?  I bet that would make a lot of customers happy, but that is just me.  Read Article Here

Microsoft adding an Anti-cheat game feature

This was given to the Windows Ten Insiders Build in July to developers.  It was quietly added by Microsoft for developers to catch those who are cheating.  Say if you were playing a game that was either on windows ten and Xbox one, and you do something to that game that causes it to something outside its gaming mechanics; this sends the message to the developer and turns off the TruePlay on your game.  Which means you basically banned from playing that game until the developer unbans you.  It's only on Universal Windows Platform, but imagine what it would be like if it was on all games from different companies?  It would definitely change how we play games, but it would be fair to get rid of those cheaters. Learn More Here.

Blizzard suing 4399 company for making a OverWatch copycat

With games becoming more and more popular, the 4399 company in China made Hero's of Warfare which is a copycat of the popular First-Person-Shooter (FPS) OverWatch.  Blizzard, the creators of OverWatch, have teamed up with its Chinese partner, NetEase, to sue for infringing on intellectual property.  It doesn't surprise me that this is happening.  A small number of companies like in China want to copy a popular game just to be greedy.  Maybe this will teach them to make their own original game instead.

Hyperloop One

This article is about Richard Branson with the company Virgin Group, are investing on Hyperloop One.  This transportation device is going to be implemented to transport cargo and passengers.  In hindsight, this is meant to cut traveling in half when going to place to place.  Musk proposed the idea that this device will transport you from New York to Los Angeles in 45 minutes which would be a great feat and futuristic achievement.  This article is very interesting because it's great to see the future is building up right in front of us. Read More @ CNN Tech News
