With games becoming more and more popular, the 4399 company in China made Hero's of Warfare which is a copycat of the popular First-Person-Shooter (FPS) OverWatch. Blizzard, the creators of OverWatch, have teamed up with its Chinese partner, NetEase, to sue for infringing on intellectual property. It doesn't surprise me that this is happening. A small number of companies like in China want to copy a popular game just to be greedy. Maybe this will teach them to make their own original game instead.

Uh oh. Not good.
ReplyDeleteThis isn't the first time that a Chinese company has copied a popular game. I just don't understand how they can be happy with themselves by blatantly ripping off others creations when they could create something original to call their own.
